Restoration Hardware - The Gallery

I stopped into the new Restoration Hardware the other week to see the unveiling of their new look. I must say, I'm pretty impressed. Gone are the pale colored walls and traditional looking furniture. Now the look is more updated and has more personality albeit the furniture is still pretty large in scale. I think you'd need to live in a 10,000 sq. ft. house to accommodate some of the pieces. They make a "studio" line of smaller pieces in their upholstery collections, but unfortunately most of their tables and case goods will not fit in my home.

I think we got the remodel before New York or anyone else which is pretty exciting. One of the perks of shopping at the store closest to the company headquarters I guess! Here are a few photos of the store:

Love the Brickmaker's Coffee Table (think of all the things I could display on it!), but who has room for a 59"L x 43" W coffee table in their living room or family room? I don't.

English Roll Arm Sofa (starting at $2,545); Brickmaker's Coffee Table ($1,495)

Think of all the fun dinners you could host with the Flatiron Dining Table (if your dining room can fit the 107" long table):

Flatiron Dining Table $1,795; Vintage French Round Side Chair ($295 ea.); Filament Chandelier ($895)

Yes, the new store is much darker

There are several displays of reproduction subway signs:

The store now carries the baby & child line:

Gone are the white columns
